24th September 2025 | posted in News
On Wednesday 24th September 2025, the Regulator of Social Housing published the results of its recent inspection of Railway Housing Association.
We’re pleased to announce we were judged as meeting the regulator’s governance, financial viability and consumer standards. Our ratings were G1, V2 and C2.
This means:
- We are well-governed and being run properly
- We are financially viable, with the capacity to deal with a reasonable range of financial risks
- We are meeting consumer standards, with some work to do
The regulator recognised the progress we’ve made since our last grading and could see the hard work and commitment that has gone into building strong foundations for the future.
The inspection team was particularly pleased with the improvements we’ve made and our dedication to achieving our vision for residents. We welcome the feedback and recommendations from the regulator and we are already using these insights to inform our existing work to continuously improve how we serve our residents
The regulator’s inspection included speaking with a number of our residents and we are grateful to them for being giving of their time to provide feedback. All the feedback we receive from our residents helps shape the services we provide.
While we know there’s more to do, we are in a much stronger position than before. We’re now updating the regulator with our progress in making the improvements needed and most importantly, we’ll continue working with our residents, to make sure we keep improving the services and outcomes that matter most to you.
At Railway Housing Association, we exist for our residents. Their views and experiences are at the centre of everything we do and we look forward to building on this positive outcome together.
