Listening to You

The association is committed to the rights of residents to be involved in the management of their homes and we offer the following opportunities:

Scrutiny Panel

The Scrutiny Panel is a group of up to ten residents who meet every two months to scrutinise our performance and look in detail at how we deliver services to residents

Value for Money Steering Group

This group ensures that the Association is doing everything possible to get value for money.

Leaseholders Forum

Leaseholders from our four leasehold schemes meet together once a year to discuss matters that are specific to leaseholders.

Focus Groups

Focus groups give residents the opportunity to meet with staff and discuss and influence services. Meetings are held three a year in Newcastle/Darlington, Hull and York.

Resident Forum

This is an opportunity to comment on our services without the need to leave home. Members of the Resident Forum complete postal or internet surveys on a wide range of subjects.

Residents Associations

These groups encourage residents who live in a particular area or scheme to meet on a regular basis to have their say on local issues and organise social events. We provide support to properly managed groups that act for the benefit of all residents.

Face to Face Meetings

Twice yearly meetings are held at each sheltered scheme to give residents the opportunity to discuss issues that affect their home and the services we provide. Twice yearly home visits are made to the most vulnerable residents to discuss any aspect of their home and listen to their views.

Resident Satisfaction Survey

A survey is sent to all residents once every three years to find out how satisfied residents are with the services we provide.

If you are interested in getting involved more information is available in our 'Opportunities to Get Involved' leaflet. You can also contact us on freephone 0800 0287428 or email us at info@railwayha.co.uk
