Based in York and also covering Leeds, Doncaster and surrounding areas such as Scarborough, Selby and Knaresborough, Andy has day-to-day responsibility for the management of 374 homes.

He will be the first point of contact for residents living in these areas and his wide-ranging role includes carrying out home visits, undertaking regular estate inspections, advising on rent issues, and signing up new residents.

Andy has great experience in housing management, having worked as a housing officer for 16 years. He joined us from Salvation Army Housing Association where he covered the North East and North West of England, as well as occasionally having to travel to Scotland.

In his new role, he won’t have quite as much driving to do!

He says: “I am delighted to have joined Railway Housing Association and am looking forward to meeting and working with residents in my area to ensure they are happy in their homes and that that continue to live in nice, attractive communities.”

Andrea Abbott, Railway Housing Association’s Director of Customer Services, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Andy to Railway Housing Association.

“He comes with a great deal of experience in housing management and will be a great asset to the Association in the York, Leeds and Doncaster area.”
