Railway Housing Association has begun the search for a new Chief Executive after the current CEO Anne Rowlands announced her retirement.

Anne will step down in April 2023 after 14 years at Railway Housing Association, all of them as Chief Executive.

Anne, who will turn 65 early next year, started her career 42 years ago with the London Borough of Lewisham and has worked in housing and social care the entire time.

She says: “I have enjoyed every minute of my time as Chief Executive. It is a great place to work with a great staff team and board, but I felt after 14 years the time was right to stand down.

“There are lots of changes happening in the housing world at the moment, so I think it’s a good time for a new chief executive with fresh ideas to take the association forward in 2023”
