Repairs

We want to make sure you live safely and comfortably in your home, so please let us know as soon as you have a repair to report.

There's a priority system for repairs, based on the circumstances, such as whether your home is no longer secure, there's a danger from a gas leak or whether there's another working toilet in your home, and below are some examples of the categories and timescales for repairs.

Emergency repairs will be completed within 24 hours and cover anything that involves a risk to your safety or health, or serious damage to the structure of the property.

This includes:

• No water supply or bursts from a tank, cistern or pipe work

• Blocked drains or toilet

• Unusable toilet (if it is the only one in the property)

• No heating during the winter months (October to March)

• Dangerous structures, for example roof, gutters, stair banisters

• Repairs affecting the security of the your possessions

• Loss of electrical power or serious electrical faults

• Gas escapes or lack of supply  - please see more information below

There are two urgent repairs categories, which will be completed within three or seven days, depending on the nature of the repair.

Routine repairs will be be completed within 31 days.
