Tenancy Services Officer
17 hours per week
Salary £12,148 rising to £12,592 over three years (plus essential car allowance)
You will provide a generic housing management service (in conjunction with the local Housing Officer) for approximately 190 units of accommodation in the Newcastle, Tyne & Wear and Northumberland areas, including control of rent arrears, voids, lettings and tenancy issues. Based in our office in Lemington, Newcastle, you will be expected to travel between there and our office in Dunston, Gateshead, on a regular basis.
You must have a genuine commitment to customer care and resident involvement with good communication, IT and time management skills. You will need to be self motivated, well organised and able to work on your own initiative, ideally with experience in a housing related role, together with a working knowledge of housing legislation.
Excellent terms and conditions of employment apply including 17 days basic annual leave, plus public holidays and a contributory pension scheme.
Employment will be subject to an enhanced disclousre & barring (DBS) check and satisfactory references being obtained.
Applicants must hold a full driving licence and have use of their own vehicle. An essential car user and mileage allowance will be paid.
